Kasturi Foundation successfully completed a Cancer Detection Camp in association with Rotary Club of Bombay Bandra at Mahavir Medical Research Centre, Khar on 5th January 2020. Thanks to all the members who volunteered for the camp and made it successful.We are very thankful to Rotary Club of Bombay Bandra and Mahavir Medical Research Centre for their support. The salient features of the camp were as follows –
- We screened 107 participants in all.
- The camp went off very smoothly. The participants were all very pleased with the organization of the camp.
- The camp was organized free of cost to the participants.
- Majority of the participants who were recommended by Dr. Meghal registered for mammography, which shall be conducted free of cost to the participants at Shri Manav Seva Sangh, Sion. We have issued coupons to all registered participants.
- 2 sessions of awareness lectures were conducted by Pramod Dalmia and Hitesh Savani each.
- There was induction of 5 new members during the camp.
- Tea, snacks and lunch to volunteers was arranged by Rotary Club of Bombay Bandra . We express our gratitude for their noble gesture.
