Kasturi Foundation on 25th June, Tuesday, 2019, successfully conducted bimonthly Happy Moments Project at Wadia hospital. We entertained 54 cancer affected children and their families. 22 kids were in wards who couldn’t come. 6 children’s birthday was celebrated.
The joy and happiness shared with this children is unexplainable; in this way we provide this children few happy moments for sometime when they are going through the pain of their treatment. This time also Donors for Wadia were AVM school mom’s. On their behalf we distributed –
- Foldable bag as a gift
- Colgate paste and toothbrush
- Dry-fruits
- Harpreet Kaur our member, sponsored kesar mangoes
- Diary milk chocolate sponsored by senior citizen guest – Sudhaben Mehta
- Cake was made by Saloni Shah, daughter of Ashwinbhai Shah our Kasturi trustee.
Our Kasturi member, Seema Dantara and our Kasturi volunteers, played games and animal housie with kids, and those who won were given gifts. They really enjoyed a lot. One of senior citizen guest Sudhaben Mehta had come for kids she sang with kids Ganesh Stuti and then sang small kids songs and also cracked few jokes with them.
We are thankful to our valued donors and volunteers for their generous contribution. In all the project was a successful event.
